If
you are interested in learning casual and
traditional Italian or French cooking, we can help you.
Alex, the French Chef , started to
learn cooking at the age of 16 in Paris. He learned
French popular and traditional dishes, then he went to the South of
France and stayed for 8 years in the French riviera where he learned
and enjoyed to cook provencal dishes . After he went to the west side
of France in Toulouse to again learn new dishes. Now Alex is in Tokyo,
teaching how to cook the French dishes . Alex likes to mix all the
flavors giving his dishes a special touch between the countryside taste
and the "Provence" seaside freshnesh.
Alberto,
the native Italian cooking teacher, is from Venice. Having his mother
and grand-mother both cooking teachers, he used to cook traditional
Italian dishes since a very young age. He is experienced in cooking for
friends, family and workmates. He also organised Italian cooking events
in Australia where he lived before coming to Japan.
You
will learn how to cook traditional Italian or French food by
cooking a complete course, consisting of 3 dishes . You will prepare
the food by yourself as well as listen to the Chef's instructions and
demonstrations. Then later you can do the same at home. Lessons are in
simple English but feel free to speak Italian or French if
you can. The atmosphere is relaxed , casual and friendly in order to
favour learning. The recipes are simple so everybody can do it. It is
not a course targeted at professional cooks. At the end of each class,
all
participants have dinner together with a selection of assorted Italian
and French wines .
All participants receive an English Recipe
handout.
Afterwards, members are welcome to have a
"nijikai" in a drinking place.
Places
are limited
therefore reservations are absolutely necessary.
P.S.: Please do not say you will attend
unless you are certain you will be
able to. Not appearing is unfair to people on the waiting list and to
the people buying food. Note that there is a 4000yen
cancellation fee if you reserve a space and do not appear.
There
is no fee if you cancel at least 3 days before the class. Thanks for
your understanding.
